OI-Frame
Software for the Origin Infinite light frame - audio-reactive light circles on an LED screen behind laser-cut plexi.
What it is
OI-Frame is the software for the Origin Infinite light frame, a wall piece. A microphone or audio feed makes light circles move on an LED screen, and the light is seen through laser-cut plexi (acrylic) layers in front of it. It runs by itself on a small Raspberry Pi computer next to the screen (repo).
For us: It is how an Origin Infinite (OI) light frame works once it hangs on a wall. You set it up from a phone on the same network, and the repo README explains how to update the machine.
How to start
- Read the README “Start here” table in the repo.
- To update the frame on the wall, follow “Updating the frame” in the README.
